This is brilliant! The dream like state of this drawing really shows now. Great choice of drawing to have had a go at too!

I loved the Original, but this is much better!
You make a good team, hope to see some more works from you two.
Maybe you can redraw some of Gods-Mistake's color works, I think they would look great in B&W.
Anyway, Great work!

Great pen work from you has really added dimension to the original weird vision....I hope you both found it an educational process.

You made it less lunatic and more sad. Wonderful, dude!
I just miss the grin of the cat.
You were right. I really shit my pants!
The umbrellas shadow was a good idea. The whole contrast on this thing rocks like hell!
I wonder what people think of that formerly face in the lower left of the picture, because now it's so shadowy.
And don't even let me begin talking about the trees, man...
Awesome! My new wallpaper!

I really dig the original sketch by Gods-Mistake,
but you gave it a twist on your own.
Great use of your technique to put in the shadows.
Those trees are wonderful!
Excellent collaboration

And how dare you wish England out!!!
06/17/06 @545
I want to crawl in there and check out those trees!! They look primevil!
Excellent work.

andy: thanks brother, yea my warped mind was instantly attracted to his warped drawing...
sudndeath, xovika, venom, valera, diegoth, leloops: thank you!
cola: I'm glad you like it, thanks for your comments
dave: couldn't agree with you more...about the great penwork. No, sersiously, helping each other grow as artists is what GFX should be about, not the other crap you alluded to...
ben: glad you like how it turned out! Obviously I removed some of the original details from your drawing...but to be honest, I didn't know what the hell some of them were LOL. Ack, sorry about the cat's grin, didn't even see that. I think her shadowed face adds to the bizarre gloomyness of the overall mood. Anyway, as long as you are happy with it...then this project was a success!
wallace: thanks dude, glad you like the trees!
juro: boooooooooo! I hope England loses their next match!
brian: thanks for the comments...glad you like the trees also, but be careful about crawling in their, I think that's where cypherx lurks....

Probably the whole world just fucked my head and I found a way to deal with it like that. Especially the female breed. Hahaha! Ouch!
It just happened without thinking about it. I don't know which insane ghost moves my hand from time to time, but it always ends up like this. Strange, sick and twisted.
This picture is just another window to my soul ... and there are many more.

Looking at the both side-by-side, it's like Benjamin drew an outline concept and you inked it in. The darkness adds alot of emphasis in this that Ben's was lacking. Pencils tend to lack certain things when it comes to atmosphere, and your brought forth the darker end of Ben's mind. Terrific retouch/collaberation.

but there are certain things i like more in the original, partly because it seems more twisted to me because it's so bright. it gives more room for speculations, where your drawing is a bit more concrete. i suppose that's because of the style; the fact that the shapes and everything are more defined kind of steals away some of the mystery in that bleached effect. also i noticed you've changed/left out some things, like for example the cat's shadow which was a favorite of mine about the original drawing. i liked the fact that it didn't look natural at all, heheh.
but as i said, very good work on this, you're both very talented.
and by the way, your style rocks. it's a treat to go through your gallery. x)
